Which leopard, and which size?
All five are the same spot pattern — the ground colour is what changes, and it changes everything about how loud the blanket is. Brown is the traditional read; the others are the print without the 1980s.

Will leopard print make my living room look dated?
Leopard goes wrong when it is one of several loud things, and goes right when it is the only one. This is a placement question more than a taste question.

Care: cool machine wash on a gentle cycle with like colours, first wash on its own since printed colour always releases a little on cycle one. Tumble low or line dry. No fabric softener — it leaves a film that flattens the contrast between the spots and the ground, which is the only thing making the print read.
The step people skip: washing it inside out is pointless here, but washing it cool is not. Warm water is what dulls a high-contrast print into a muddy one after a handful of cycles.

There is a specific stage of furnishing a room where everything is technically correct and nothing has any nerve. Grey sofa, grey cushions, a rug chosen because it would not clash with anything. It photographs fine and it feels like a serviced apartment. The fix is not more neutrals in a slightly different shade — it is one object with an opinion, sitting where you actually look.
Contrast is what makes a leopard print look expensive
The difference between leopard that looks considered and leopard that looks cheap is almost entirely about how the spots sit against the ground. Too much contrast and it reads as a costume. Too little and it turns into brown mush from three feet away. The five colourways here each shift that balance: Grey and Tan sit at the quiet end, Yellow at the loud end, Brown in the middle where the print has spent most of its history.
It is also why the care advice matters more on this blanket than on a plain one. Everything that dulls fabric — warm water, fabric softener, a hot dryer — works by putting a film over the surface or fading the darker tones faster than the lighter ones. On a solid throw you would barely notice. On a two-tone print, the spots and the ground drift towards each other and the pattern quietly stops working.
