How many panels do I need?
Each curtain is sold as one panel, 59" wide (150cm). For a full, gathered look you want roughly twice your window width in fabric, so most windows take more than one panel.
| Your window width | Panels to order |
|---|---|
| Up to 54" | 2 panels |
| 54"–72" | 3 panels |
| 72"–96" (sliding doors and wide openings) | 4 panels |
If your window falls right on the line between two rows, take the higher number. The extra fullness is what makes curtains look tailored rather than skimpy.
Choosing your length
Measure from the top of your curtain rod down to where you want the curtain to end, then pick the closest size. Sizes are listed in centimetres as width × height. Every panel is 150cm wide — only the drop changes.
| Size | Drop | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 150x160cm | 63" | Sill length — kitchens, bathrooms, laundry |
| 150x180cm | 71" | Just below the sill — bedrooms, smaller windows |
| 150x200cm | 79" | Floor length with standard 8ft ceilings |
| 150x220cm | 87" | Floor length with the rod mounted high above the frame |
| 150x240cm | 94" | 9ft ceilings |
| 150x260cm | 102" | High ceilings, or a soft pool of fabric on the floor |
| 150x280cm | 110" | High ceilings, or a soft pool of fabric on the floor |
| 150x300cm | 118" | High ceilings, or a soft pool of fabric on the floor |
Designer tip: mount your rod 4–6" above the window frame and extend it 3–6" past each side. The window looks taller and wider, and the curtains clear the glass when open so you keep all your light.
