How many panels do I need?
Each curtain is sold as one panel, and on this design the panel width changes with the size you choose — 42", 52", 55" or 79" wide.
For a single panel across the window, pick a width roughly equal to your window width. If you would rather order two panels for a soft, gathered look, pick a width of about half your window width. Every size comes with a rod pocket, grommet or hook top — pick in the Style option.
Remember that the price shown is for one panel, so order two if you want a pair.
Choosing your length
Measure from the top of your curtain rod down to where you want the curtain to end, then pick the closest size. Sizes are listed as width × drop.

Designer tip: mount your rod 4–6" above the window frame and extend it 3–6" past each side. The window looks taller and wider, and the curtains clear the glass when open so you keep all your light.

Hung on its own it softens direct sun into an even glow and blurs the view in from outside by day, while the room stays bright. How semi-sheer tulle works
Tulle is a fine open mesh, so light passes through it diffused rather than blocked. That is what takes the harshness out of afternoon sun without dimming the room. The embroidered rainbow motifs sit on the mesh as solid stitching, so they read clearly against the light. It is not a privacy curtain after dark with the lights on; layer it over a blind or a blackout panel if that matters.
