Which size?
Sizes run M, XL and 3XL in a Women's and a Men's cut. The steps between them are generous, so pick the one you'd be comfortable in over pyjamas — a sherpa robe is meant to be roomy.
| Choose | If this sounds like you |
|---|---|
| M | You normally wear a small or medium and want the robe close enough to move around the house in. |
| XL — most popular | You wear a large or above, or you're a medium who wants it over clothes on a cold morning. Between M and XL, take XL. |
| 3XL | You want full coverage and a deep front overlap, with nothing pulling when you sit down. |
If it's not the right size, swap it — 30-day returns with a free prepaid US label.
Keeping it fluffy
Sherpa stays warm because of the air held in its pile. Keep it away from high heat and it stays that way for years.
| Do | Avoid |
|---|---|
| Cold gentle wash, belt tied so it doesn't wrap round the drum | Washing it with towels — sherpa collects lint |
| Tumble dry on low, or hang dry on a wide hanger | Hot dryer settings, which flatten the pile |
| Shake it out while damp to lift the pile | Fabric softener and ironing |
Hang it on a wide hanger rather than a door hook — it keeps the shoulders and collar in shape.
The five minutes after a shower stop being the coldest part of the day.
You get out of a warm bathroom, cross a cold hallway, and hunt for clothes while still slightly damp. A towelling robe doesn't fix that — towelling is built to hold water, not heat. Sherpa is built to hold heat. Towel off, put this on, and the cold hallway stops being an event.

Warm the second you put it on
The lofted sherpa pile traps air against you, so it's warm immediately and stays dry to the touch instead of going clammy the way a towelling robe does. Deep wrap front, tie belt, full-length sleeves, two patch pockets — it's the robe for cold mornings, long evenings and the walk from the shower.
Which color
- Yellow — bright and cheerful, easy to spot on a hook in a dim bedroom.
- Navy — dark, plain, the most forgiving of breakfast. Looks like clothing rather than sleepwear.
- Gray Blue — muted and calm, between the two.
- Mint — soft pale green, the most spa-like of the four.
