Sofa size or bed size?
Every color comes in both sizes, so you never have to trade the shade you want for the size you need. The choice is just about where it's going to live most of the time.
| Choose | If this sounds like you |
|---|---|
| 59"×79" | It's a sofa blanket for one person at a time, or the thing folded over an armchair that gets pulled down at 9pm. Easy to fold, easy to store. |
| 79"×91" | You want it across a bed, or two people share it on the sofa and you're tired of the tug of war over the middle. |
People who buy one usually buy a second in a different color for another room.
Will the rose texture flatten out?
The rose effect on this throw is surface relief, not print, so it depends on the pile staying lofted. Flatten the pile and you lose the pattern — which means care matters more here than on a plain throw.
| Do | Avoid |
|---|---|
| Cold gentle wash, on its own so it has room to move | Cramming it into a full load, which crushes the relief |
| Tumble dry low, or dry flat | High heat, which melts pile into hard shiny patches |
| Storing it loosely folded or rolled | Vacuum bags and heavy stacking, which set creases into the texture |
The step people skip: shaking it out hard before it goes back on the bed. Ten seconds brings the roses back up; without it the throw looks slept-on forever.
Texture you can see from the doorway, on the blanket you actually use.
Most rooms have one blanket that gets used and one that looks good, and they are never the same object. The good one lives folded and untouched because using it would ruin the arrangement. This one has its pattern built into the surface rather than printed on it, so it still reads as a rose field when it's crumpled at the end of the sofa with a book on top of it. That's a small thing that decides whether a throw earns its place or just occupies it.

Relief texture is what makes a plain color interesting
A single-color throw has one job and one problem: with nothing happening on the surface, it either looks calm or looks cheap, and the difference is entirely in the light. A raised rose texture solves it by giving the fabric its own shadows. As the light in the room changes through the day, the same blanket goes from almost flat mid-morning to deeply sculpted under a lamp at night. That's also why the tonal, unprinted colors here work better than a bold print would — the pattern is doing the visual work, so the color is free to be quiet. It's the reason this reads as expensive rather than busy.
Which color
- Blue — a soft, calm mid-blue. The one for a bedroom with white bedding and a bit of timber, where you want a color that doesn't set the mood so much as settle it.
- Pink — warm and gentle rather than sweet. Sits well against cream walls, and it's the choice when the rose texture is the point and you want it obvious.
- Coffee — deep warm brown. The most forgiving on a sofa that sees pets, coffee cups and children, and it makes a beige room look intentional instead of undecided.
- Light Grey — the neutral. Disappears into almost any room, which means the texture is all you notice. Safe pick if it's a gift.
