Will it stay put on my shower floor?
A non-slip mat needs full, flat contact underneath it — that is the whole mechanism. Smooth surfaces give it that. Heavily textured ones give it air gaps, and a mat with air under it slides.

Three steps. Rinse the floor and the underside of the mat so there is no soap film between them. Lay it down and press across the whole circle with your palm, working outward.
