Will it slide on my bathroom floor?
Chenille grips best on a floor that's clean and dry underneath. The usual cause of a sliding mat is a film of soap residue on the tile, not the mat itself.

The raised, rounded loops sit in a structured stripe rather than a loose shag, so they hold their shape underfoot and recover after being stood on rather than staying crushed in a foot-shaped patch by the shower door.
That structure also speeds up drying. Water wicks into the loops and then evaporates from a large surface area, instead of pooling in a dense flat mass the way it does with a cheap flat-woven mat. A mat that dries between uses is a mat that doesn't develop a smell.

- Dark Grey — the most practical of the four. Hides everyday grime in a bathroom that gets heavy traffic, and sits well against white sanitaryware.
- Slate Grey — lighter and cooler. Better in a bathroom with grey or marble-look tile, where a dark mat would read as a black hole on the floor.
