How many panels do I need?
Each curtain is sold as one panel, 55" wide. For a full, gathered look you want roughly twice your window's width in fabric — on a small cabinet or kitchen window a single 55" panel is usually plenty.
| Your window width | Panels to order |
|---|---|
| Up to 50" | 2 panels |
| 50" – 77" | 3 panels |
| 77" – 105" (sliding doors) | 4 panels |
A single panel works well for narrow windows, or when you only want a curtain on one side. This curtain has a rod pocket top — a fabric sleeve that slides straight onto a standard rod.
Choosing your length
Measure from the top of your curtain rod down to where you want the curtain to end, then pick the closest size:
| Size | Best for |
|---|---|
| 55" × 24" | Café length — above a sink, radiator or short window |
| 55" × 31" | Café length — above a sink, radiator or short window |
| 55" × 39" | Café length — above a sink, radiator or short window |
Designer tip: mount your rod 4–6" above the window frame and extend it 3–6" past each side. The window looks taller and wider, and the curtains clear the glass when open so you keep all your light.
