Which color and size should you pick?
Pick the size by the job (Large for laundry, Small for everything else), then pick the color that suits the room.
| Choose | If this sounds like you |
|---|---|
| Small | You want a tidy home for towels, toys, toiletries or bits and bobs, or a basket that fits on a shelf or in a smaller closet. |
| Large | You need a laundry basket that takes a proper load of clothes from the bedroom to the machine in one trip. |
| Stone Shell | You want a soft gray that blends in with white, gray and wood tones. |
| Ocean Shell | You like a calm blue, especially in a bathroom or laundry room. |
| Pearl Shell | You want the lightest, cleanest look, close to white. |
| Blush Shell | You want a gentle pink for a bedroom, nursery or dorm. |
Every color comes in both sizes, and the price is the same whichever you choose.
Where will it fit?
It stands open where you use it and folds flat when you don't, so it works in rooms where a fixed hamper would take up too much space.
| Works on | Avoid |
|---|---|
| Bathroom floors and laundry rooms | Next to heaters, stoves or other hot surfaces |
| Bedrooms, closets and dorm rooms | Overloading it so the sides are pushed outward |
| Car trunks and trips, folded flat until needed | Using it as a step or a seat |
The step people skip: when you open it, pull the sides all the way up until the basket stands fully open before you load it. A half-open basket will not hold its shape, and a fully open one carries a lot more.
A Laundry Basket That Gets Out of the Way
A standard laundry basket is useful for about ten minutes a day and in the way for the rest. It sits in the corner of the bedroom or on top of the dryer, taking up space whether it is full or empty. In a small bathroom, a shared apartment or a dorm, that space is hard to spare.
This basket opens in seconds when you need it and folds flat just as quickly when you don't. Load it up, carry it to the machine by the cutout handles, then fold it down and slide it beside the washer, under the bed or behind a door. The slotted sides let air move through, so damp towels are not sealed in, and you can see at a glance how full it is.
Why the folding design matters
The sides are made in narrow panels that fold down on themselves, so the basket collapses into a thin, flat shape. That is what makes it useful beyond laundry day. It packs into a car for a weekend away, stores flat in a closet between uses, and does not need assembling: it comes ready to go, and you simply pop it open.
It is made from durable PP (polypropylene), a light, easy-care plastic. That keeps it light enough to carry from room to room, even when full of clothes, and it wipes down easily. The soft colors and curved rim mean it looks more like a piece of home decor than a utility tub.
