Which size, and does it matter that it is gauze?
Gauze is light, so go by coverage rather than by weight. Both sizes come in all three colourways, so settle the size first.

Is a gauze blanket warm enough to be useful?
It is a breathable layer, not an insulator, and that is exactly the point for most of the year. Know which job you are buying it for.

Wash it cool before first use. Gauze arrives with the weave still tight and the first cycle is what opens it up and gives it the soft crinkled hand it is meant to have — that is the step people skip, and then wonder why it feels flatter than expected.
