One tealight, a whole room of pattern.
A tealight on its own gives you a small point of light. Put it inside this globe and it becomes something else: the light pushes out through hundreds of irregular cut-outs and lands on the table, the wall and the ceiling as a soft, dappled pattern — like sunlight through leaves, but warm and at night.
It's a round, low bowl of pierced metal with an open top, so you just drop a tealight in and light it. One on a side table is enough to change the feel of a room. Three down a dinner table, and the whole cloth lights up.

Pierced metal, cut all the way round
The globe is made from iron, cut through in an organic, coral-like pattern and finished in gold, black or silver, with a smooth rolled rim around the open top. Because the openings run all the way round, the pattern it throws looks good from every side of the table.
Made for tealights — real or LED. With a real flame, keep it on a heat-safe surface, let the metal cool before moving it, and never leave a lit candle unattended. Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth.
