How many panels do I need?
The panel width changes with the size you choose on this curtain. Each size is sold as one panel of the width shown, so the size you pick decides both how wide and how long the panel is.
Choose a panel width close to your own window width, then order two panels — one for each side. That gives you roughly twice the window width in fabric, which is what creates a soft, gathered look when the curtains are drawn. For a wider window or a patio door, order more panels and let them meet in the middle.
Panel widths available on this curtain: 42", 52", 55", 59".
Choosing your length
Measure from the top of your curtain rod down to where you want the curtain to end, then pick the closest size. Sizes are listed in centimetres as width × height. Both the width and the drop change with the size.
| Size | In inches (width × drop) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 106x160cm | 42" × 63" | Sill length — kitchens, bathrooms, laundry |
| 132x213cm | 52" × 84" | Floor length with the rod mounted high above the frame |
| 140x220cm | 55" × 87" | Floor length with the rod mounted high above the frame |
| 150x230cm | 59" × 91" | 9ft ceilings |
Designer tip: mount your rod 4–6" above the window frame and extend it 3–6" past each side. The window looks taller and wider, and the curtains clear the glass when open so you keep all your light.
