What is 29"×13" actually for?
This is a hand and face towel, not a bath sheet. Long and narrow, so it hangs on a rail or a ring without bunching, and dries out between uses instead of sitting damp.

Wash it before first use. That is the step almost everyone skips, and with cotton it matters: the first cycle opens up the loops and is the difference between a towel that absorbs and one that skates across your hands.
