The floor decides this more than the mat does. A textured or slightly porous surface grips; a wet gloss surface is a skating rink for anything.

Why the arches are structural, not just a print
The concentric arch pattern is carved into the pile, so the design exists as a change in depth rather than a change in colour. That's the difference between a mat that keeps its look and one that goes patchy: a printed pattern wears off exactly where your feet land, while a sculpted one is still there when the mat is three years old, because the shape of the tufts is the pattern.
The carving does a practical job too. The recessed channels between the raised arches give displaced water somewhere to go, so the mat doesn't develop one permanently soggy patch in the middle where you always stand. And cashmere is a fine, soft fibre — it's what makes a deep pile feel like something you'd want to stand on barefoot rather than a doormat with ambitions.

- Ocean Blue — deep and saturated. It anchors a white or pale grey bathroom and stops the whole room reading as clinical.
- Light Pink — soft, warm and much subtler than it sounds. Works in a bathroom with brass or copper fittings, where cool colours look wrong.
