How many panels do I need?
Each curtain is sold as one panel, 59" wide. For a full, gathered look — the way curtains look in photographs — you want roughly twice your window's width in fabric. Most windows need two panels.

Choosing your length
Measure from the top of your curtain rod down to where you want the curtain to end, then pick the closest size:

Designer tip: mount your rod 4–6" above the window frame and extend it 3–6" past each side. The window looks taller and wider, and the curtains clear the glass when open so you keep all your light.

A solid curtain gives you two settings: open or shut. This one doesn't work that way. The crochet mesh is an open weave, so daylight comes through the gaps and lands in the room broken up rather than blocked — warmer, softer, and with the amber tone of the yarn in it. Closed, the room still reads as daytime. It just stops being glary.
Be honest about the room first
This is a light-filtering curtain, not a blackout one. Worth knowing before you order, because it's the single thing people get wrong with an open weave.

Daytime privacy is good — the weave reads as texture from outside. After dark, with the lights on, an open weave is an open weave. Layer it over a blind if that matters.
Why the texture does the work
Plain fabric hangs flat and reads flat. A crochet mesh has depth in it — the leaf-and-fan pattern catches light on the raised stitches and shadows the gaps, so the panel has something to look at even when it's just hanging still. It's the reason a boho or farmhouse room feels collected rather than bought as a set.
The yarn is a microfibre blend, which matters for an open weave: it holds its shape, doesn't sag at the top over a season, and the amber tone doesn't wash out in a sunny window the way a dyed cotton can.
