The adhesive needs a smooth, non-porous surface to form a permanent bond. Check yours against this before you order:

This is the part that decides whether a shower caddy lasts two months or ten years. Aluminium doesn't rust — not at the joints, not at the mounting plate, not where the water pools. The frame is open, so water runs straight through instead of collecting in a tray and going black underneath. There is nowhere for mould to start.

It holds up to 50kg once the bond has cured, which is considerably more than a shower's worth of bottles will ever ask of it. The hook underneath detaches if you don't want it, and takes a loofah, a razor, or a hand towel if you do.

Silver — brushed matte. Disappears against light tile and chrome fittings, which is usually the point.
Black — matte charcoal. Reads as deliberate against white tile, and matches black tapware if you have it.
