Two tapers, one piece of stone.
This is about as simple as a candle holder gets: a small, solid block of travertine with two slots cut into the top. Set two tapers in it and you have a pair of flames that stand together, anchored by the weight and texture of real stone.
Travertine is a natural limestone, full of tiny pores and soft veining, so no two blocks look quite the same. It reads calm and modern on a mantel, and warm and earthy on a dinner table — the kind of piece that looks just as good in daylight with the candles unlit.
