Which floral am I going to live with?
The wildflower drawing is the same across all three — what changes is how loud it is in the room. Look at the sofa or bed it's going on and decide whether you want the blanket to blend in or to be the thing you notice.
| Choose | If this sounds like you |
|---|---|
| Sage Bloom | Your room is already neutral — oatmeal sofa, linen curtains — and you want the blanket to add pattern without adding a new color to manage. |
| Tangerine Floral | You've got a beige room and you know it. This is the one that gives a flat scheme somewhere for the eye to land, and it warms up a north-facing room. |
| Midnight Floral | Dark ground, flowers picked out against it. Reads as evening rather than as spring, and it's the one that doesn't show a coffee splash from across the room. |
The dark one hides use, the pale ones show a room off — pick by which matters more where it's going.
Which size, and where will it actually get used?
These are throw sizes, not bed-covering sizes — that's worth knowing before you order the smallest one for a double bed. Think about the specific chair, pram or sofa it's going on.
| Good for | Not the right pick for |
|---|---|
| 28"×39" — a pram, a car seat, a small lap blanket for a desk chair | Covering an adult on a sofa — it will reach the knees and no further |
| 39"×59" — one person under it properly on an armchair or a two-seater | Two people sharing, unless you enjoy negotiating |
| 59"×79" — a full sofa throw, or a decorative layer across the foot of a bed | A main bedcover — it's a layer over one, not a replacement for one |
Machine wash cool on a gentle cycle and dry on low. The step people skip is washing it before the first use — printed textiles always shed a little surface color in the first wash, and doing that on its own rather than with a white shirt saves an annoying morning.
The one thing in the room that isn't grey, beige or wood.
Most living rooms end up accidentally colorless. The sofa was a safe choice, the rug was a safe choice, the curtains matched the rug, and now the whole room is three shades of the same neutral and nobody can work out why it feels flat. A patterned throw is the cheapest possible fix for that, because it's the one thing you can change in ten seconds and change back if you hate it. Fold it over an arm and the room has a focal point it didn't have this morning.

Why the drawing style matters more than the color
Floral throws go wrong when the print is photographic — big glossy roses that look like a scanned image laid onto fabric. The wildflower design here is drawn: line-led stems, flowers of different sizes scattered with breathing room between them, no attempt to look like a photograph. That's what lets it sit in a modern room instead of reading as something inherited.
Scattered scale also survives folding. A print with a large repeating motif looks wrong the moment the fabric is bunched over the arm of a chair, because you see half a flower and a lot of empty ground. Small varied elements read the same folded, draped or flat, which is the only state a throw is ever actually in.
- Sage Bloom — muted green flowers on a soft ground. The quiet one. Adds pattern to a neutral room without introducing a color you then have to repeat elsewhere.
- Tangerine Floral — warm orange tones through the blooms. The most energetic of the three, and the one that makes a cool, grey-lit room feel like it has a lamp on.
- Midnight Floral — pale flowers on a deep dark ground. Dramatic rather than sweet, works against dark timber and leather, and forgives daily use better than either pale option.
