Which size fits the gap in front of my bath?

Measure the clear floor between the bath or shower and whatever is opposite — usually the sink or a wall. Both sizes are the same mat; the bigger one just means fewer wet footprints escaping onto tile.

Choose If this sounds like you
16"×24" A small bathroom or an ensuite where the door swings inward and anything longer would catch under it. Also the size for the spot beside a sink.
20"×32" You get out of the shower and take two steps before you're dry. Covers the full landing zone, and it's the one to buy if more than one person uses the room.

If the door opens inward, check the clearance underneath before choosing the larger size.

Won't a flocked surface flatten or shed?

Flock is short, dense and stood upright — there are no long loops to crush and no fringe to shed. What actually ruins a flocked mat is heat and softener, not footfall.

    Works on Avoid
Sealed tile, porcelain, vinyl and sealed timber. Cool gentle washing. Drying flat or on a low tumble. Vacuuming the surface between washes. Hot water and high-heat drying, which is what mats the flock down permanently. Fabric softener. Bleach on the moss green. Wringing it out twisted.

To keep the pile standing: wash cool, dry low or flat, and once it's dry, run a hand or a soft brush across the surface against the direction of the nap. That last step is the one nobody does, and it's what lifts the flock back upright after a wash — thirty seconds, and the mat looks new instead of pressed.

Hang it over the bath edge after a shower rather than leaving it flat on wet tile.

A bathroom that has one deliberate color in it, instead of none.

Bathrooms default to white and grey because that's what tiles come in, and then the bath mat is grey too, so the whole room reads as a slightly damp waiting area. Meanwhile the mat itself flattens, goes patchy at the edges where the shower drips, and you replace it. Moss green fixes the first problem — it's a deep, muted green that gives a white bathroom something to look at without turning it into a feature wall. The geometric flock fixes the second.

Flock is why the geometry stays crisp

Most patterned bath mats are printed. Ink on a pile surface has a hard job — it sits on the tips of the fibres, and the moment those fibres move, the pattern blurs. Flock works the opposite way: the fibres themselves are applied in the shape of the design, standing upright on the base, so the geometry is made of texture rather than color. Run a hand across it and you can feel the pattern edges. Because the pile is short and dense rather than long and looped, it doesn't crush under a foot the way shag does, and there's nothing to catch on a toenail or a cupboard corner. It also means the mat dries faster than a deep-pile one — short fibres hold less water, which is the whole difference between a mat that's dry by evening and one that's still cold and heavy at bedtime.

    Where each size actually goes

    • 16"×24" — the compact rectangle. Small bathrooms, ensuites, and the strip beside a pedestal sink. Fits under an inward-opening door with room to spare, and it's light enough to wash weekly without thinking about it.
    • 20"×32" — the full landing mat. Sits along the length of a bath or across a shower opening so both feet land on it and stay on it. This is the one for a shared bathroom, where the mat has to cope with three or four people a morning.

    What You're Getting

    • One Moss Green Geometric Flock Bath Mat in your chosen size — 16"×24" or 20"×32"
    • Flocked geometric pattern made from the pile itself, not printed onto it
    • Short dense pile that doesn't crush underfoot the way long-loop shag does

    • Dries faster than deep pile because short fibres hold less water
    • Suits sealed tile, porcelain, vinyl and sealed timber floors
    • Care: cool gentle wash, low tumble or dry flat, no fabric softener, no bleach
    • Reviving trick: brush the dry pile against the nap after washing to stand the flock back up
