Who is this basket for?
Anyone who wants a laundry or storage basket that looks neat out in the open and folds away when it is not needed.
| Choose | If this sounds like you |
|---|---|
| For laundry | You want a laundry basket that does not look like one, and you need it to fold flat when space is tight. |
| For toys and playrooms | You want a soft basket kids can drop toys into, with handles to carry it to the next room. |
| For blankets and throws | You want somewhere by the sofa or the bed to keep throws tidy but still close at hand. |
Each order is one felt laundry basket in black.
Where does it work?
Almost any room that needs a place to put things down, from the bedroom to the laundry room.
| Works on | Avoid |
|---|---|
| Bedrooms and closets | Soaking wet towels or clothes left inside |
| Bathrooms and laundry rooms | Standing water on the floor |
| Living rooms, for throws | Sharp or heavy items that could tear the felt |
| Playrooms, for toys | Direct heat, like a radiator or heater |
The step people skip: fold it flat and store it when it is not in use, instead of leaving it empty in a corner. And if a wet towel goes in, take it out the same day so the felt can stay dry.
A laundry basket that looks neat enough to leave out
Most laundry baskets are made to be hidden. Bright plastic, cracked handles, and a shape that takes up the same amount of space whether it is full or empty. So the laundry ends up on a chair, the toys stay on the floor, and the throws get bundled onto the end of the sofa.
The Oxford Fold Felt Laundry Basket is made to be seen. The soft yet structured felt holds its shape, the neutral black tone fits in with most rooms, and the clean rectangular lines keep it looking tidy even when it is full. It is lightweight and has reinforced handles, so carrying laundry to the machine is easy. When you do not need it, it folds flat and slides away.
Why felt matters
Felt is soft to the touch, and it is also structured enough to stand on its own, which means the basket keeps its rectangular shape instead of slumping when it is half empty. It is a durable material that suits everyday use, and it wipes clean with a damp cloth.
It is also why the basket looks at home in a living room as easily as in a laundry room. The minimalist design and black tone complement most interiors, so one basket can hold laundry this month and blankets next month without looking out of place. And because it folds flat, it suits small apartments and compact spaces where every inch counts.
One basket can move around the house with you, too. Use it for the weekly wash, fold it flat when the closet is full, then open it back up for toys after a birthday or extra throws when the weather turns. It is the kind of basket you keep reaching for because it fits whatever the week needs.
