Seven styles — which one for my bathroom?

They all behave the same on your skin; the only question is what your bathroom already looks like. Pick by the tone of your tile and fittings, not by which photo is prettiest on its own.

Choose If this sounds like you
Starry Night or Midnight Garden Your bathroom is all white tile and chrome and it feels like a clinic. A dark towel on the rail is the fastest thing that fixes that.
Sunburst Tapestry or Golden Accent You have brass or warm timber in the room, and you want the towel to pick that up rather than fight it.
Coastal Patchwork or Butterfly Meadow A light, airy bathroom, or a beach house where the towel is going to spend half its life on a deck rail.
Ruby Mosaic You want one strong color in an otherwise neutral room and you are not going to be talked out of it.

People who share a bathroom often order two different styles rather than two of the same — nobody argues about whose towel is whose.

Will a printed cotton towel still dry me properly?

Yes — but only if you never put fabric softener near it. Softener is the reason people conclude that a towel "stopped working", and it happens to plain white towels just as readily.

    Do this Avoid this
Wash warm with detergent only, separately from anything with a zip or hook. Fabric softener and dryer sheets. They leave a waxy film on cotton that repels water.
Tumble medium or line dry, then shake to open the pile back up. Bleach on a printed towel — it takes the color out and does nothing for absorbency.
Hang it spread out over a rail so both faces get air. Folding it damp over a hook, which is how a towel starts smelling by Wednesday.

The step people skip: the first wash before use. New cotton carries a light finish from manufacturing, and one wash strips it — which is why a brand new towel often seems to push water around before it settles in.

The towel rail stops being the beige part of the bathroom.

Bathrooms are the room people decorate last and least. Tile is expensive to change, fittings are fixed, and the paint is behind a shower screen anyway. The towel is the one large soft surface in there that you can swap in an afternoon, and it is hanging at eye level on the wall you look at while you brush your teeth. Midnight Swirls treats it that way — a printed cotton towel with an actual composition on it, rather than a plain rectangle in whichever color was in the sale bin.

Why cotton is still the only sensible answer

Cotton fibre is hollow and hydrophilic — it pulls water into the fibre itself rather than just holding it between threads, which is why a cotton towel keeps drying you after the surface is already wet. Microfibre feels efficient for the first ten seconds and then starts pushing water around your back. Cotton also releases that water in the air rather than staying clammy, so a towel hung properly is genuinely dry by the next morning instead of merely less wet. The tradeoff is that cotton is fussy about what you wash it with, which is the entire care section above.

    The seven styles

    • Starry Night — deep, swirling night sky. The most dramatic of the set and the one that carries a plain white bathroom on its own.
    • Sunburst Tapestry — radiating warm golds and ambers. Reads richest under warm bulbs.
    • Butterfly Meadow — lighter and softer, scattered motifs on a pale ground. The gentlest option, and the usual pick for a kid's bathroom.
    • Coastal Patchwork — blues and sea tones broken into blocks. Suits a beach house, and it hides sand better than plain white ever will.
    • Ruby Mosaic — fragmented reds with real saturation. Strong on a dark rail, striking against white tile.
    • Golden Accent — the restrained warm one: mostly quiet, with gold running through it. Good if you want warmth without a full pattern statement.
    • Midnight Garden — botanical shapes on a dark ground. The one that ties into houseplants and green tiling.

    What You're Getting

    • One Midnight Swirls Cotton Towel in your chosen Style
    • Seven styles: Starry Night, Sunburst Tapestry, Butterfly Meadow, Coastal Patchwork, Ruby Mosaic, Golden Accent and Midnight Garden
    • Cotton construction, so it absorbs into the fibre rather than smearing water across your skin
    • Full-towel print, designed to be looked at on the rail, not just used and hidden
    • Works as a bath towel or a beach towel — the darker styles in particular do not show sand and damp patches
    • Machine wash warm with detergent only; tumble medium or line dry
    • No softener, no bleach — one is why towels stop absorbing, the other is why prints fade
    • Wash once before first use so the cotton reaches full absorbency
