At a glance
- What's included: Coverlet only, or coverlet + matching pillowcases — choose with the Style option
- Sizes: 59", 79", 87" or 98" wide × 94" long
Which width fits my bed?
All four sizes are 94" long, so the length is settled — you are only choosing width. Measure the mattress across, then pick the width that gives you the drop you want down each side.
| Choose | If this sounds like you |
|---|---|
| 59"×94" | A single or king single, a day bed, or a spare room bed that gets used four times a year. Also the pick if you want it as a long runner across the foot of a bigger bed. |
| 79"×94" | A double or a queen where you want a modest drop and a slightly tailored look, rather than fabric pooling on the rug. |
| 87"×94" | A queen you want generously covered, or a king where you would rather it sat neatly than swallowed the bed frame. The in-between size most people overlook and then wish they had taken. |
| 98"×94" | A king or super king with proper drop on both sides, or a tall mattress with a topper on it that eats coverage you did not budget for. |
Measure the mattress, not the frame. Frames add inches that do not need covering.
With or Without Pillowcases?
The pillowcases are what make a bed look styled instead of covered. Whether you need them depends entirely on what is already at the head of your bed.
| Take With Pillowcases if | Take Without Pillowcases if |
|---|---|
| You are doing the whole bed at once, setting up a guest room, moving house, or your current pillowcases are a color you have stopped defending | You have plain white or linen pillowcases you like, you already own the set, or you deliberately want the ginkgo print kept to the body of the bed only |
A coverlet sits over the sheet, not instead of it, so it is meant to be handled and pulled back rather than left untouched. Wash it cool and gentle, and dry it in shade — the step people skip is sun-drying, and direct sun is what actually flattens an orange botanical print. The machine is not the problem.
Shake it out fully before it dries. Coverlets come out of a drum compressed, and creases set hard if you fold from that state.
The bed stops being the unfinished corner of the room.
Bedrooms get sorted last. There is usually a decent bed frame, a duvet in a color chosen under pressure, and a pile of cushions that came from three different eras. It functions. It just never looks like the room was finished, and it is the first thing you see every morning and the last thing at night. A coverlet is the shortcut, because it covers most of the visible surface area of the bed in one move — and this one leads with warm orange ginkgo leaves against a floral ground, which is enough color to make the rest of the room look intentional by association.

Why a coverlet works where a duvet cover does not
A duvet cover is a commitment. It is the whole bed, it is bulky, it takes a full wash cycle to itself, and changing it means wrestling a quilt into a bag at 9pm. A coverlet sits on top, so you can put it on in fifteen seconds, pull it back in summer, layer it over whatever bedding you already own, and take it off entirely when the weather turns without leaving the bed bare.
That also means it earns its keep outside the bedroom. Folded in thirds across the end of the bed it works as a runner; taken to a couch it works as a large throw. A duvet cover can do neither.
The two Style options
- Without Pillowcases — The coverlet alone. Correct if your pillowcases are already plain and you want the orange ginkgo to be the single pattern in the room, which is usually the more restrained look in a small bedroom.
- With Pillowcases — Matching pillowcases in the same ginkgo floral. This is the version that reads as a set from the doorway, and it is what makes a guest room look deliberately put together rather than assembled from spares.
