Which size do I need?
The sizes here cover the seating area, not the whole sofa, and they split into two different products. The square sizes are individual cushion covers — match them to your existing cushion insert. The long sizes are seat runners that lie along the seat — for these, measure the seating area from the inside of one arm to the inside of the other, and check your seat depth separately.
Cushion covers
Choose the size that matches the insert you already own. A cover the same nominal size as the insert gives a full, plump look.
| Your cushion insert | Size to order |
|---|---|
| Small scatter cushion, 18" square | 18" × 18" |
| Standard scatter cushion, 20" square | 20" × 20" |
| Large cushion, 24" square | 24" × 24" |
| Oversized floor or euro cushion, 28" square | 28" × 28" |
Seat runners
Measure the seating area inside arm to inside arm for the length, then the seat depth front to back for the width. Most sofas are 21–24" deep, which suits the 28" widths; the 20" and 24" widths are better on narrower or shallower seats such as slim-frame or mid-century sofas.
| Your seating area, inside arm to inside arm | Size to order |
|---|---|
| Loveseat seat up to 55", standard 21–24" depth | 28" × 59" |
| Loveseat seat up to 59", narrow or shallow seat | 20" × 63" |
| Loveseat seat up to 59", shallower seat | 24" × 63" |
| Three-seat sofa up to 67", shallower seat | 24" × 71" |
| Three-seat sofa up to 67", standard 21–24" depth | 28" × 71" |
For runners, measure the seat rather than the outside of the sofa — arms typically add 8–12" per side, and using the outside width is the most common reason a runner arrives too long.
How it fits
Whichever size you choose, this covers the seating surface or a single cushion only — it does not wrap the sofa, and the backrest and arms stay uncovered. The runner sizes lie flat along the seat, where the thickened pile adds a genuinely cushioned layer underfoot and the non-slip backing grips the upholstery so it stays put instead of sliding forward as people get up. The square sizes simply slip over a cushion insert you already own. In both formats the dense weave is the point: it is the layer that takes the cat scratches and the daily wear instead of your sofa fabric, and the retro pastoral print is thick enough that seams and frame lines beneath do not show through. Machine washable when the colours need refreshing.
