3, 4 or 5 hooks — how many do you actually need?
Count the things that hang there every day, add one for a guest or a bag, and choose the rack that covers it. Each option is one bamboo rack; the longer the rack, the more flip-down hooks it has.
| Choose | If this sounds like you |
|---|---|
| 3 Hook | About 30 cm (11.8 in) long. A narrow wall beside a door, a small bathroom, or one person's coat, bag and towel. |
| 4 Hook | About 40 cm (15.7 in) long. A couple's entryway, or a bedroom wall for tomorrow's outfit, a robe and a tote. |
| 5 Hook | About 50 cm (19.7 in) long. A family hallway, or anywhere coats, hats and bags all compete for the same spot. |
Not sure? Go one size up. Hooks you don't use fold flat and disappear into the rack.
Will it work on your wall?
It screws to the wall, and the screw holes sit hidden behind the rack. The board is 5.5 cm (about 2.2 in) tall, so you need a clear strip of wall a little longer than the rack you choose.
| Works on | Avoid |
|---|---|
| Entryway and hallway walls, bedroom walls, bathroom walls outside the shower, kids' rooms, beside a desk for bags and headphones | Walls you can't drill, spots where a door swings into the hooks, and inside the shower spray |
The step people skip: check the wall before you drill. Use a stud finder or the right wall anchors for your wall type, mark a level line first, and fix it at the height the people using it can actually reach — lower for kids, higher for long coats.
Hooks when you need them, a flat clean line when you don't.
Most wall hooks stick out all the time. Empty, they catch your shoulder in a narrow hallway, snag a sleeve as you walk past, and make a small entry feel even smaller. Full, they are fine — but a hallway is rarely full, and the rest of the time you are living around a row of pegs.
This rack solves that with hooks that flip. Press one down and it swings out ready for a coat or bag; push it back up and it folds flat into the bamboo, leaving a clean strip of wood on the wall. You only open the hooks you are using, so the rack looks tidy whether it is holding one bag or five coats. No clutter, no fuss, and nothing sticking out to walk into.

Why bamboo and folding hooks matter
The rack is made from smooth natural bamboo, which brings a warm, light wood tone to a wall without looking heavy. It sits happily next to white walls, oak floors and black fittings alike, and it is easy to keep clean with a quick wipe-down. Set against the pale wood, the dark hooks give a simple two-tone look that reads as considered rather than utilitarian.
The folding hooks are the real point. They sit recessed in the board when closed, so the rack works in places a fixed hook rack can't: tight hallways, behind a door, over a bench where people sit. And because the screw holes are hidden behind the board, the finished rack shows only wood and hooks — no visible screws.
