Which size, and where do the tassels end up?
With a tasselled cloth, the drop matters more than usual — the tassels are the finish, so you want them hanging clear of the table edge, not folded on top of it. Add about 8–12 inches to each tabletop dimension and the fringe lands where it should.

Won't the tassels tangle in the wash?
They will if you throw it in loose with a zip or a hook. Fringe survives washing perfectly well; what it doesn't survive is being caught on something else in the drum.

The step people skip: straightening the fringe while it's still damp. Thirty seconds running your fingers through it and it dries hanging straight. Leave it and you'll be untangling it dry, which takes ten times longer.
