Which length do you need — and is this going on a person or on furniture?
The width never changes. All four sizes are 180cm across; the only thing you are choosing is how far it runs. That makes this simpler than it looks: measure the thing you want covered, end to end, and pick the length just above it.
| Choose | If this sounds like you |
|---|---|
| 180x130cm | Roughly 71" × 51". The lap blanket. One person, one armchair, feet included. Also the one to pick if you just want something folded over the end of a bed for looks. |
| 180x260cm | Roughly 71" × 102". Covers the seat and back of a two-seater, or throws generously across a double bed with enough hanging down each side to look deliberate. |
| 180x300cm | Roughly 71" × 118". A standard three-seater sofa, or a bed where you want the throw to reach the floor on both sides rather than stopping awkwardly at the mattress edge. |
| 180x340cm | Roughly 71" × 134". A long sofa, a corner unit, or a household with a dog and a policy of covering everything the dog sits on. |
When you are between two lengths, take the longer one. Excess tucks; shortfall just looks like a mistake.
Will it stay where you put it, or slide off by the end of the evening?
A throw over furniture stays put because of how you lay it, not because of anything built into the cloth. Most of the sliding complaints come from throwing it on flat and hoping.
| Works well over | Expect it to shift on |
|---|---|
| Fabric sofas and armchairs, beds, ottomans and blanket boxes, a reading chair by the window, the back of a dining chair for storage | Tight leather and vinyl, high-gloss furniture, anything you have not tucked into the seat crease first |
To lay it properly: centre it over the seat, then push a hand's depth of fabric down into the crease where the seat meets the back, and only then straighten the sides. That single tuck is the step everyone skips, and it is the difference between a throw that holds all evening and one that is on the floor by the second episode.
The sofa stops looking tired, and nobody has to know why.
Sofas do not wear out evenly. The seat cushions go shiny and slightly grey while the back and arms stay perfectly fine, so the whole thing looks older than it is. Replacing the sofa is a project. Covering the part that has aged is an afternoon. A floral throw at the right length does that job and reads as a decision rather than a patch — it is the same reason people put a runner on a scuffed dining table.

Why the pattern is doing more work than the fabric
A plain throw shows every crease, every cat hair and every crumb, which is why plain throws get straightened four times a day. A dense country floral does the opposite: the print breaks up the surface, so a rumpled corner reads as texture instead of mess. It is the same trick patterned carpet has always used in hallways.
It also decides how the throw sits with the rest of the room. Because the floral runs across the whole width rather than sitting as a border, you can fold it into thirds over an arm, drape it corner-on across a bed, or spread it flat over a full three-seater and the pattern still looks intentional from every one of those angles. That flexibility is what stops it becoming the throw that only ever gets used one way.
- 180x130cm — the one-chair size. Folds into a neat rectangle on the arm of a chair and disappears when you are not using it.
- 180x260cm — the two-seater and double-bed size. Enough drop on each side that the edges hang rather than perch.
- 180x300cm — the everyday three-seater size. This is the one most people want if the throw is going on the main sofa in the main room.
- 180x340cm — the long-sofa and corner-unit size. Also the one to buy if it is going over a bed and you want it reaching the floor on both sides.

What You're Getting
- One Country Charm Floral Throw in your chosen Size
- Four lengths — 180x130cm, 180x260cm, 180x300cm and 180x340cm, all 180cm wide
- All-over country floral running the full width, not a printed border
- Works on a sofa or a bed, folded in thirds or spread flat
- Pattern hides creasing, so it does not need straightening every time someone gets up
- Machine washable — wash cool, dry low, and give it a shake out before it goes back on
- Tuck it into the seat crease before straightening the sides; that is what keeps it in place
- Size up when you are between two — extra length tucks away, missing length does not
